Sam Santana and Steve Wilson are taking part in the annual Sydney to the Hunter Cycling Classic held on the 14th and 15th of September. The goal is to raise funds for ONE80TC which aims to restore the lives of young adults and rebuild Australian families. ONE80TC particularly assists young men who struggle with life controlling issues like alcohol and gambling addiction and the consequent depression associated with these addictions. The ride consists of a grueling 350km’s travel from Rouse Hill Town Centre to the Central Coast, to Pokolbin and through the wine country. Last year the cycle raised over $60 000 for ONE80TC and this year we hope that amount improves again. Individually Sam and Steve need to raise $2000 for the cycle so please dig deep and be generous for such a great cause. Whether it’s $10 or $1000 every little bit helps and is appreciated.
For over 30 years, ONE80TC has given young people between the ages of 18 and 35 years, who struggle with life-controlling issues, a second chance at life. The program aims to eliminate their self-destructive habits by meeting the needs of the whole person… not only dealing with the addiction, but also rebuilding their self-image, work ethic and relationships. All proceeds raised will go to ONE80TC.
