Warringah Plastics is now utilizing a breakthrough acrylic lighting material for use in architectural commercial buildings. This new material has a matt satin surface, offers excellent tube obscuration and will not yellow under normal operating conditions.
The excellent diffusion is achieved by combining two polymer beads with different refractive indexes changing the direction of light travel within the finished part. This advanced technique gives the material a very high light transmittance of 88%.
The material can be thermoformed or fabricated.
