ACP

Aluminium Composite Panel

Aluminium Composite Panels are comprised of a plastic core sandwiched between 2 sheets of high strength aluminium alloy. ACP has great rub resistance, acid resistance and alkaline resistance. The key advantage of ACP is its lightweight because of it’s low density polyethylene inner, yet because of it’s aluminium outer it has high strength, weather and UV resistant, and dimensional stability. The material can also be scored and folded to make an array of different shapes and forms.

Applications

ACP is used in building cladding and for interior design, it can also be used on vehicle wall panels like buses and on aerial vehicles like drones. Certain grades of ACP can be printed on making it good sign board material. ACP can come in a larger sheet size up to almost 6m making it a great for large signs like advertising fascias, petrol stations and structures like exhibition stands and point of sale displays.

Colours shown above are just representations of a particular colour and aren’t necessarily the finished plastic colour. Lighting conditions, monitor calibration and variances in the plastic colour processing can impact the colour of a given material. For more information on colour availability please contact us.
