2013 IN REVIEW
What a year 2013 has been; we hope you have had an enjoyable and prosperous year! It’s been a busy year at Warringah Plastics as we have continually strived to fulfil our goal to provide the best manufacturing solutions to industry. This year we have launched a new QMS (Quality Management System) and this has really shaped not only the quality of our products but all areas of our business including customer satisfaction and business culture. As well as this we have invested into cutting edge machinery and researched into new plastic materials and adhesive solutions. Our industrial products especially for the transport, construction and mining industries are more durable and more consistently manufactured and our point of sale products are more beautiful and technologically advanced than ever before so your design can stand out and be efficiently manufactured.
We have also taken on jobs that were once considered infeasible to manufacture and too difficult to deliver on time like the Jim Beam can; we are continually pushing ourselves to the limit to give you the best solutions in the industry. If you have missed anything in 2013 you have missed a lot! Catch up with this years news!
NEW 3 AXIS CNC MACHINE
Warringah Plastics now has a brand new, gigantic CNC 3 Axis Routing Machine which has a cutting size of 6.3m x 1.8m. With this new machine, Warringah Plastics has the in-house ability to rout, engrave and machine sheets of material as thin as 0.5mm to sheets as thick as 30mm in a single setup on a vacuum table. We can cut all our existing materials like acrylic/perspex, ABS/ASA, PP, PC, PVC, HDPE and aluminium composite panels (also known as Villabond, Dibond, Willstrong, Reynobond, Alucobond and Plascore.
The machine also has a floating head meaning that we can get a consistent engraving height even if there are variances in the material thickness.
Equipped with our new oscillating knife the CNC machine can cut a diverse range of materials that can’t be cut with traditional CNC routers. This includes corrugated plastics like Corflute, polyflute, proplex and Coroplast but also graphic foam boards, closed cell foams, gasket materials, rubber, cork, carpet, felt, fabric and vinyls. The oscillating knife is fast and leaves a nice clean edge. Why not speak to us today and find out how our diverse range of manufacturing services can help bring your product to life.
