BEAUTY-FULL DISPLAY BY WARRINGAH & AVON

Recently, Warringah Plastics provided a larger than life display for Avon. Avon is a leading global beauty company and one of the world’s largest direct sellers.

Avon approached Warringah Plastics to design and manufacture a custom display for an upcoming conference. The display needed to:

• Show a range of larger than life sized lipstick bullets in different Avon shades
• Include a large light boxes for custom artwork – that could be easily interchanged
• Be suitable for both the conference and also later to be used in the Avon showroom
• Be ready within a tight time frame!

Our Design & Product Development team worked to resolve a design that not only achieved 100% of the initial criteria but was feasible to be manufactured within the time frame. Having utilised their 3D software capabilities Warringah Plastics were able to output files for CNC milling of 3D patterns (5 axis CNC) and 2D panels (3 axis CNC). This meant that everything went together first time as the prototype was the finished product. It was also a good opportunity to utilise the brand new 6m long 3 axis router.
